Hurricane Rock is a combination of industrial design and handicraft. It is inspired by the fantastic rock formation "Lords Rock" in Bohemia. Through a unique process, the colour flows into the crystal clear glass when pressed by hand.
Hurricane Rock is a hand-pressed lantern. As a result of this artisanal process, small irregularities may appear within the glass—such as tiny bubbles, delicate lines, or subtle folds in the material. These are beautiful hallmarks of the handcrafted nature of the piece, endowing each Hurricane Rock with its own unique character and charm.
Hurricane Rock is designed primarily as a candle holder but can also be used as a vase if desired.
For the Rock Lamp you should use paraffin or wax candles, as they have a higher melting point than stearin and work best in semi-enclosed spaces. Use Standard tealight (up to max 35 mm diameter).
Wash gently with a soft sponge, lukewarm water, and mild detergent. Rinse well, dry with a lint-free cloth, and avoid harsh chemicals.
