Wedjat Traces takes its shape from the Eye of Horus, the mismatched round and marquise on one side and teardrop and square on the other echoing the broken, reassembled form of the ancient Egyptian symbol, drawn from the myth of Horus losing his eye in battle against Set, only for Thoth to gather its scattered pieces and restore it whole, after which the eye was worn as protection against harm. In Peridot and Clear Quartz, the pairing catches the eye's original brightness before the injury, sharp and unclouded, while Citrine and Green Amethyst carry the warmth of its slow healing, and Garnet and Clear Quartz hold the deep red of the wound itself steadied beside clear light. Wedjat Traces carries that same eye made whole again by careful hands, each uneven shape a fragment gathered back into something worn close, still watching, still protecting, long after it was first broken.
